The global introduction of the MTS series expands our portfolio of sound solutions for stadiums and sports venues with a new full-range, high-output, long-throw, point-source option. With every detail geared towards addressing the most demanding requirements of consultants, integrators and installers specializing in large performance venues, MTS brings to bear its stunning acoustic performance with superior control, coverage and clarity, truly setting the next standard in stadium sound.
The MTS series leverages EV’s engineering resources as part of the Bosch Group, including the use of High-Performance Computing clusters for the design. As such, MTS brings an evolution of our pioneering manifold loudspeaker technology and MH horn technology to advanced levels of audio performance. The full-range horn-loaded loudspeaker with four 15″ woofers and dual coaxial mid/high frequency compression drivers generates extremely high SPLs of more than 151 dB peak and reliably provides precise coverage control in both the horizontal and the vertical aspects, without sacrificing sound quality or SPL.
Dutch fans tour Euro 2021 with Electro-Voice
Football fans cheering on The Netherlands in Euro 2021 are benefitting from a new matchday experience from the famous Orange Double Deck Bus, thanks to a freshly installed sound system ready to help whip up the atmosphere into a frenzy
HGL from Tilburg equipped the bus with a solution calling on the combined benefits of Electro-Voice and Dynacord. Sound inside the bus is courtesy of six EVU-1082/95 cabinets with low end support from a ZX1-Sub. Meanwhile four MFX-15MC loudspeakers pole-mounted on a pair of Dynacord FX20-PRO subs provide powerful sound reinforcement outdoors. Power for the solution is from a single Dynacord IPX amplifier while SONICUE sound system software and a CMS-1000-3 mixing console are part of the solution to provide perfect mixing and control.

Electro-Voice celebrates 90 years at NAMM 2017
Electro-Voice celebrates 90 years and starts off the New Year with a LOUD & CLEAR message at NAMM 2017
Electro-Voice kicked off its 90th birthday year with a LOUD & CLEAR pledge to portable speaker customers at this year’s NAMM show in Anaheim, California: Big wattage is fine, but clarity is key – whatever sound you make, sound your best with EV.
Under the LOUD & CLEAR banner, EV’s new NAMM booth served as a live performance venue to showcase talent playing through models from EV’s best-selling family of portable loudspeakers (ZLX, ELX, EKX, ETX) and new ND Series microphones. Nine different artists spanning a broad scope of genres performed at the booth over the course of the four-day show, allowing visitors to hear EV sound quality for themselves. Multiple product experience areas gave guests a chance to compare and contrast the various features each loudspeaker series offers to suit a range of portable applications and budgets. A mic display with listening stations showcased the ND Series, with members of the popular PL and RE series also on hand.
EKX portable loudspeakers won a ProSoundWeb Readers’ Choice Award at the show!
EV also launched the new #EVsound social media campaign at the show – EV users can post/tag music they’ve made with EV gear to be featured on the #EVsound webpage and entered into monthly drawings for EV-branded merchandise. Entries will also be in the running to be featured as soundtracks on new EV videos.
