This Wednesday, 6 September, ApexPro would like to invite you to the Theatre on the Square at Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton to view a performance of Freud’s Last Session. Lit by award winning lighting designer Denis Hutchinson, the show utilises the latest ColorSource LED technology from ETC as well as the ColorSource 20 Console.
If you would like to come and see LED lighting technology used in a theatrical context, where subtlety of colour and dimming are paramount, then this is definitely the production for you. There will also be a Q and A session after the show hosted by Mathew Lewis, ApexPro’s ETC product specialist, who will be joined by Denis so that they can answer any questions that you may have about the lighting and how to utilise it.

On the 21st of February Audio-Technica South Africa, distributed by ApexPro, officially launched the ATUC-50, an innovative new offering from Audio-Technica in the conferencing space. Audio-Technica’s Conference Business Development Manager EMEA, Sandra Kellerman, came all the way from Denmark to officially launch the exciting new ATUC-50 Digital Discussion System and offer in-depth training on its use and features. The event was held at the picturesque Blandford Manor conferencing venue in northern Johannesburg.

Prosound started 2017 with exciting news by launching its new distribution company ApexPro, while at the same time adding new staff who are all heavyweights in their fields.
Aadil Matwadia joined ApexPro in January 2017 as the newly appointed National Sales Manager. Coming from Wild and Marr, he has 20 years of industry experience behind him and is a highly respected figure in the local industry.
ApexPro welcomed Earl Deveraux-Quicke in January 2017 as the new Cape Town Sales Manager. Formerly of Rockit Distribution, he is a well-known and extremely knowledgeable presence in the Cape marketplace.
Mathew Lewis became part of the ApexPro team in February 2017 as the new ETC Product Specialist. With 8 years’ experience in the Theatre industry, Lewis has toured all over the world as a lighting designer and chief electrician on multiple award winning productions such as Dirty Dancing, Sound of Music and Chicago. Lewis’ practical knowledge of ETC products is unparalleled in South Africa.
